Harvey Branman: Family or Corporate Holiday Party Photographs

December 12, 2017

Burbank, CA – Harvey Branman, an award winning photographic portraitist, sheds light on the importance of family and corporate holiday party photographs. Harvey owns Photography As An Art, and provides complete photography services for businesses, families, and individuals.

Harvey states that the most important thing for a top professional photographer is to clearly understand client expectations. He says this is important particularly when hired to photograph a holiday party, such as the soon to be held Dignity Health’s event hosted at a local hotel, which Harvey will be covering for the third year in a row, or a holiday party in someone’s home or restaurant.

“Are they going to want all posed portraits, or a combination of candid photographs which capture the interactions of the attendees in addition to posed portraits?” He says, “There is always the option of having prints made and delivered at the event for the attendees to take home.”

Harvey asks, “Does an event actually happen if there are no photographs to document it? Of course, that is a bit of a joke – or is it?” Harvey feels that the key reason why he has many clients who actually call upon him for their corporate events year in year out is because they like the way he get the attendees to show him how much fun they’re having. Photographs also provide a valuable record of a group’s history. Harvey says, “When I go into my archives of event photographs and see how much people have aged – or in some situations are no longer with us, I know the photographs become priceless. “

When someone hires Harvey for the first time, he lets them know that satisfaction is guaranteed. Harvey wants his clients to be comfortable telling him what they want. He usually directs them to a file of images from a similar event to prove to them that their event will be documented in a way that will make them feel comfortable spending the money to have him be their photographer. If they don’t feel they’re getting what they paid for, Harvey refunds their money.

Harvey Branman is the owner of Photography As An Art. He has been helping clients throughout Southern California and the whole world since 1977. Harvey shoots photos with an eye of an artist and the results reveal the temperament and personal qualities unique to each photography subject. He can be contacted via his official website, via phone at and by email [email protected].
