Burbank, CA – The Fallen Swan, a short film by Win Leerasanthanah, will screen at the Burbank International Film Festival. The film will screen as part of the Student Shorts selection at 10:00am on Saturday, September 9th, 2017. The Burbank International Film Festival runs from September 6th through September 10th 2017 at the AMC 16 in Downtown Burbank. Tickets for the screening may be purchased on the Festival website.
The Fallen Swan tells the story of a baby swan who, trapped and devastated at the bottom of a well, desperately calls for help from the flock of swans above, but to no avail. Until one night, the light from above shone on the abandoned baby swan, only to reveal its hidden potential. The film was selected for the Dean’s Choice Awards for the SCAD Showcase 2017, was pre-selected for the 2nd Annual Madrid Art Film Festival 2017, and was named Official Selection for the Cinema Camp Film Festival 2017 and the New York State International Film Festival 2017.
The film was directed by Win Leerasanthanah. Johel Rivera was the Art Director, with music and sound design by Colin Andrew Grant.
