San Fernando Valley, CA – Four United Chambers of Commerce member cities are hosting street fairs or other festivals in October 2017. Granada Hills hosted a Street Faire on October 7th; Encino hosted a Family Festival on October 8th; Sherman Oaks is hosting a Street Fair on October 15th; and Calabasas is hosting a Pumpkin Festival on October 21st & 22nd.
Each of the above festivals is organized by the city’s Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber of Commerce is the central voice for the local business community in each city. Chambers advocate on a range of issues, promoting their community’s overall welfare, progress, and economic prosperity. They provide networking activities for local businesses, cultural events for community members, and political representation for the business community on local, State, and Federal levels. Each of the above Chambers are, in turn, members of the The United Chambers of the San Fernando Valley and Region, a coalition of 32 business organizations including 18 Member Chambers, representing over 21,000 businesses that provide over 387,000 jobs. United Chambers deals with Valley-wide, County-wide and Regional issues and promotes the San Fernando Valley’s overall welfare, progress and economic prosperity.
The Sherman Oaks Street Fair takes place on Sunday, October 15th 2017 from 10am-6pm on Ventura Boulevard between Van Nuys and Kester. This fair is a celebration of Southern California heritage and culture. Major attractions include:

The Calabasas Pumpkin Festival takes place on Saturday, October 21st and Sunday, October 22nd 2017, on Lost Hills Road and Juan Batista de Anza Park. For more than 40 years, the Calabasas Pumpkin Festival has brought the community together for two days of fun themed around pumpkins. The Calabasas Pumpkin Festival is proudly presented by the City of Calabasas and the Calabasas Chamber of Commerce. The Festival will include:

The Granada Hills Street Faire took place on Saturday, October 7th 2017 from 10am to 5pm, on Chatsworth Street, between Zelzah and Encino. A celebration of the local community, the Faire included:

The Encino Family Festival took place on Sunday, October 8th 2017 from 10am to 4pm, on Ventura Boulevard, between Balboa and Amestoy. The 30th Annual Encino Family Festival (Formerly A Taste of Encino) included:
