OmniTechnical helps major health provider improve provider enrollment, tracking, and analytics

May 24, 2017

Glendale, CA – OmniTechnical, a Glendale-based custom IT-solutions provider, partnered with a major regional healthcare provider to develop and implement a provider enrollment, tracking, and analytics system. The system has significantly reduced the time and cost associated with managing provider enrollment across a wide network of medical offices, and interfacing with a range of government healthcare programs, including Medicaid/Medi-Cal, Medicare, and National Provider Identification (NPI) and Children’s Services programs.

Healthcare providers working with government programs are required to register their practitioners with each program, and also to register at which provider locations said practitioners are providing services. This paperwork-heavy process is prone to oversights, redundancies, and out-of-date records, as practitioners change offices, update their registration information, or make other changes to their status in relation to the services they provide.

OmniTechnical’s solution pre-populates the required enrollment and paneling applications with provider profile data, streamlining the registration and record-keeping process. The system also manages business logic, tracking both business group performance and individual enrollment.

In addition to initial enrollment and application tracking, OmniTechnical’s solution enables other business units to access up-to-date practitioner information, such as NPI data, and enrollment and panel application status information. This further increases the speed and accuracy with which the healthcare network can meet its data tracking, patient services, and billing requirements.

“We are very proud to have successfully implemented such a complex and wide-ranging system,” said OmniTechnical CEO, Ferdinand Benitez, “Our client was very happy with the resulting system, and the cost and time savings it realized. And we’re excited to play a role in increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of healthcare provision in our region.”

OmniTechnical has provided clients excellent custom solutions for their IT needs since 1999. OmniTechnical has provided solutions across industries and business units, including performance tracking, HR management, business analytics, eProcurement, and online commerce. They have established a track record for excellence, efficiency, and professionalism. For more information, visit the OmniTechnical website, or contact them.
