Burbank Property Market Stabilizes in April 2017

May 25, 2017

Burbank, CA – Real estate agent Julian Munoz reports that the Burbank property market stabilized in April 2017 with only a slight decline to April 2016 of 1.6% ($700,000) and from March 2017 a .5%. There were a total of 66 sales in April, which is the same as April 2016. If we look at the Year to Date Sales from 2016 to 2017 the count is significantly higher by 6.9% with a slight increase in the mean price by 3.2%.

Market forecast for June 2017

Munoz predicts the Burbank real estate market to appreciate in Spring 2017 between 5%-7%, a slight downward adjustment in appreciation since we didn’t see a larger spike in sales for April over March of this year. May through August is the high volume sales period and much will be learned in the next 30-60 days on how this season will pan out. Buyers are beginning to push back and will only move forward if there is a perceived value on the offering.
