Burbank, CA – The Kiwanis Club of Burbank proudly announces its 21st Annual Gala to be held August 25, 2018 at Pickwick Gardens. This year’s Gala is titled “Burbank Kiwanis Bandstand”! The festivities will start at 6:00 PM on August 25, 2018 with a silent auction and cocktail hour. A full program including dinner, live auction, entertainment, the Kiwanis’ famous reverse drawing ($5,000 grand prize), and music from the 40’s to the 90’s with a large dance floor!
This year’s host and Master of Ceremonies is Tim Conway Jr., host of the Tim Conway Jr. Show on KFI AM 6400, and the son of Tim Conway, from the Carol Burnett Show.
The Kiwanis Club of Burbank has been in continuous service since 1922. In this, our 96th year, they continue to provide physical, moral, and financial support for dozens of projects, events, youth groups, and fundraisers throughout the year. An all-volunteer organization, The Kiwanis Club of Burbank is proud to be the largest service organization in the City of Burbank. Through its many projects, the club strives to teach children leadership, good citizenship, self-confidence, work ethic, respect for others, and of course, instill the spirit of service.
The Kiwanis Club of Burbank supports several projects across Burbank, including: Key Clubs at five local high schools, Burbank High School Art, Music, and Drama Departments, the Burbank Middle School Speech Program, Scholarships, Teacher Awards, Burbank Singing Star, and over fifty other Kiwanis projects.
