There were a total of 54 sales in February, with an average closing price of $610,828. This represented a decrease from January 2017’s total of 55 sales and an average price of $667,585.

Cochard predicts the Northridge property market will rebound in Spring and Summer 2017. The market is already stronger compared to the first quarter last year. More buyers are entering the market, often motivated by the prospect of increasing interest rates raising borrowing costs in the near future. But, despite more buyers entering the market, inventory is not increasing. This drives the average sale price higher, and it is expected to continue increasing into the Spring months.
