Burbank, CA – The New Deal, a family-owned, 1930’s themed, restaurant located at 3501 W Magnolia Blvd, Burbank, CA 91505 celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting hosted by the Burbank Chamber of Commerce. The event was attended by local government officials, including Mayor Talamantes, Councilman Frutos, and representatives from the offices of State Senator Anthony Portantino and State Assemblymember Laura Friedman. Also in attendance were representatives of the Burbank Chamber, and the New Deals patrons and supporters.
The New Deal puts its own twist on classic American fare. “There are so many amazing chefs and the restaurant industry’s standards have gotten higher and higher. But the one thing that’s missing from a lot of them is that inability to translate love into those standards and recipes,” says owner Kendra Simon. The restaurant emphasizes healthy ingredients, locally sourced produce, and a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. The restaurant is owned and managed by the same family that run the local coffee shop favorite, Romancing the Bean.
The New Deal is open Monday through Saturday, from 11:30am – 9:00pm. At the time of publication, The New Deal has a 4-star rating on Yelp! and a 4.7-star rating on Google. For more information, or to make a reservation, call (818) 861-7731.
